About the Campaign
Coordinated by the Conference Board of the Mathematical Sciences (CBMS) and its member societies, the 2026 Year of Mathematics (YoM 2026, theyearofmath.org) is a national celebration and campaign designed to reignite America’s appreciation for math. By targeting a broad, nationwide audience, the initiative engages people to experience the beauty, relevance, and potential of mathematics in profound ways. YoM 2026 invites individuals of all backgrounds to explore math without fear of judgment or failure.
