DESCRIPTION:Presented by Kyungwon Lee\, a PhD candidate at Seoul National University\, this webinar session aims to provide insights into classroom practices related to computational thinking\, data science\, and AI in the U.S. mathematics education context\, drawing on the Korean case. Register online. \nIn Korea\, the national curriculum is periodically revised and recent issues such as computational thinking\, data science\, and AI\, have been introduced at the policy level\, leading to active changes in school-level practices. The webinar examines how these themes are reflected in Korean mathematics education through the lens of interplay among policy\, curriculum\, and practice; presenting cases of technological tools and professional development programs that support this interplay. \nThis session will include short hands-on activities and discussions\, offering participants an opportunity to reflect on data science\, computational thinking\, and AI into their own mathematics teaching practices.
